Niš City Mayor Dragana Sotirovski, with her associates and the President of the City Municipality Niška Banja, Dušan Živković, visited the works on the rehabilitation of the road from the highway to Sićevo and from the main road to Gadžin Han to the old part of Lazarevo Selo and further to the cemetery. I met with the citizens of Sićevo and Lazarevo Selo before Christmas this year, and then they told me that the access roads were their big problem, because their rehabilitation had not been done since the mid-1970s. After a month, the machines are in the field, said the Mayor.

The works that are in progress are the result of our caravan, which started with a tour of these villages and which arouses great interest of Niš citizens, she noted. According to her, we will visit villages and settlements on the territory of Niš until the end of the year, not only to talk, but to do and build what the citizens suggest. Živkovic pointed out that the road to Sićevo and the old part of Lazarevo Selo was of great importance for the citizens. He especially pointed out the tourist potential of Sićevo and Sićevo Gorge and the further development of that area, as well as the road in Lazarevo Selo as a peripheral place of the municipality of Niška Banja towards Gadžin Han.
