After a decade and a half the Serbian language with elements of Serbian culture will be studied again in Macedonian schools as an elective subject, said the member of Niš City Council for education and science, Marija Randjelović, greeting Serbian language teachers from Northern Macedonia at the Niš City Hall. She expressed great satisfaction that the City of Nis was the host of Serbian language teachers from Northern Macedonia, as well as the representatives of the Serbian Information Center Spona engaged in preservation of Serbian heritage in that country. This is another proof that the state of Serbia cares about its people as a minority in other countries, said Marija Randjelović. Serbian language teachers from Northern Macedonia are staying in Nis where they will have a two-day training to improve, innovate and supplement their knowledge at the Department of Serbian Studies at the Faculty of Philosophy. Teachers and representatives of the Department of Serbian Studies at the Faculty of Philosophy in Niš thanked for the hospitality and help of the City of Niš.
