Primary Schools Received the Traffic Training Grounds for Students

Two central and two suburban primary schools received traffic training grounds for students to acquire traffic culture and their safe participation in traffic. The central primary schools Ratko Vukićević and Radoje Domanović, as well as the suburban schools in Čokot and Milan Rakić in Medoševac received the traffic training grounds. Assistant Mayor Vladislava Ivković and the Member of Niš City Council Marija Randjelović visited the primary school Ratko Vukićević and used this visit to highlight the importance of education and acquisition of traffic culture by the youngest participants in traffic. Traffic training grounds and protective equipment that contributes to the safety of children in traffic were provided by the City of Niš Traffic Safety Council in cooperation with the Republic of Serbia Traffic Safety Agency from the funds belonging to the city from collection of traffic fines, said Assistant Mayor Vladislava Ivković. She mentioned that a campaign for traffic participants and their safety and a campaign for the safety of cyclists were underway. We are conducting the campaign for the safety of children in traffic in the week of marking November 20 – World Children’s Day, said Marija Randjelović and emphasized the importance of schools as places where knowledge of how to behave in traffic is acquired. Traffic training grounds remain in schools and will serve as a means for practical teaching and education of students.
