Niš City Mayor Dragana Sotirovski attended the ceremony marking the Day of the Municipality of Bela Palanka at which the Letter of Thanks was handed to the City of Niš for the help provided in the fighting against floods last year. Families in the settlement of Murica were especially endangered in the flood wave. The president of the Ub Municipality Darko Glišic was declared an honorary citizen of Bela Palanka. Ub is the municipality that also helped endangered residents.
