Niš Gets Administrative One-Stop-Shop, Vaccination is National Security Issue

With the help of the Ministry of State Administration and Local Self-Government, a single administrative place will be opened in NiŠ, where citizens will be able to get the necessary documents or services they asked for, saving money and time, as it was said during a tour of the City Administration in Nikole Pašić Street by Niš City Mayor Dragana Sotirovski with associates and Minister of State Administration and Local Self-Government Marija Obradović. The Ministry of State Administration and Local Self-Government helped us with five million dinars to equip a single administrative place, and we will work on the implementation of that project in the coming weeks, and we will upgrade it in the coming years, said the Niš City Mayor noting that this was the right opportunity to talk with the Minister about improving the work of city administrations. By saving money and time the citizens will be able to get the necessary documents or the service they were looking for, in one place and at one counter, said Minister Marija Obradović. “People come to city and municipal administrations because necessity forced them to do so, and our task is to provide equipment, conduct staff training and that with a friendly clerk at the counter, citizens can finish their jobs efficiently. „, stated the Minister. According to her more money is needed for additional equipment, and the Ministry will plan a larger budget for that area in the coming years. She praised the work of the City of Niš administrations, saying that it leads in the number of services it provides, in application for projects and dedication.

Niš City Mayor Dragana Sotirovski and the Minister Marija Obradović distributed humanitarian family packages to the inhabitants of the Roma neighborhood in the Roma Cultural Center, with an invitation to get vaccinated in as many numbers as possible. The Minister pointed out that Nis was one of the cities with the greatest number of vaccinated and underlined that vaccination was a matter of national security. We protect the state through vaccination. We must not allow the state to stop, she pointed out and assessed that we are currently halfway there, that we must not allow ourselves the luxury of not being vaccinated when vaccines are available to us thanks to the efforts of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and the Serbian Government. We have relaxed, interest in vaccination has dropped, and that can take its toll on us in September, the minister said, thanking donors who provided the humanitarian packages needed by low-income residents.
