Niš City Mayor Dragana Sotirovski and the General Manager of the Company Leoni Serbia Pierluigi Gione and their associates discussed the continuation of cooperation and analyzed the situation on the labor market in Niš. The conversation especially highlighted the problem of employment of people older than 50. The Mayor and the director Gione agreed to define the successful cooperation, future joint engagement and procedures in the field of employment with the Memorandum of Understanding. The director of the Office for Local Economic Development Dušan Radivojevic, and the director of the National Employment Service Branch in Niš, Boban Matić, also attended the meeting. Leoni is the largest employer in Serbia with 13,000 employees and the company has expanded its production capacities in Niš.
