Niš City Mayor Dragana Sotirovski visited the Regional Center for Family Accommodation and Adoption and children from foster families, together with the member of City Councilor Marija Randjelović and President of City Municipality Pantelej Natasa Stanković and brought gifts on the occasion of Saint Sava’s Day. Children are always looking forward to gifts, and I believe that this small gesture of attention will also mean to foster parents, said Niš City Mayor, who pointed out that by this visit the City of Niš showed responsibility towards the youngest and those without parental care. Nataša Stanković said that the City Municipality Pantelej and the Center for Family Accommodation and Adoption are in the same building, and today they hung out with neighbors with whom they have a successful cooperation. She announced that the City Municipality Pantelej has prepared on the occasion of Saint Sava’s Day, the patron of schools and students, the gifts for children in all schools in the rural area. The Regional Center for Family Accommodation and Adoption, based in Niš, was established for five administrative districts with a total of 430 foster families in which 650 boys and girls are accommodated, said acting director of the center Stevan Veselinović. There are 59 foster families in Niš.
