The city space for table tennis home in Niš has been completely renovated and it is ready for the super league competitions of Niš clubs, as the Niš City Mayor Dragana Sotirovski and the president of the Table Tennis Association of Serbia and our celebrated athlete Aleksandar Karakašević checked during their visit. All installations and lighting have been replaced, the tables are new, adequate flooring is arriving, and the locker rooms have been renovated. Niš now has four athletes competing in super league competitions and three members of the national team among people with disabilities. Our common goal is to gather as many children as possible in these new halls and in sports fields, said Mayor Sotirovski, which was also confirmed by Karakašević, estimating that we now have enough halls in Serbia, but that we need more children. Soon we will have a field at the end of Mokranjčeva Street, a sports field in the Nikola Tesla settlement, a sports field in the Branko Bjegović settlement. We have ambitious plans for new sports infrastructure in the next year, Niš City Mayor announced.
