Radivoj Korać Cup Quarterfinals Pairs Drawn

Niš City Mayor Dragana Sotirovski together with selectors Marina Maljković and Svetislav Pešić, as well as the President of the Executive Board of Triglav, Dragan Marković, the sponsor of the competition, participated in the draw for the quarterfinal matches of the Radivoj Korać Cup which is being played in Nis from February 17 to 20 this year. The basketball holiday in Niš started at the moment when the Basketball Association of Serbia announced that the Radovoj Korać Cup was returning to Niš. Niš is the record holder in the number of national cups played. Almost everything is ready for Niš to welcome basketball players, all basketball friends, all those who like to come to Nis, said the Niš City Mayor at the draw in Belgrade. I believe that we will be good hosts until February 20, when the National Cup tournament ends, and that we greet the basketball fans in 2023 as well, she stated. To my great satisfaction Niš is the host of the Radivoj Korać Cup for the 17th time.

We owe great gratitude to the City of Niš and the Mayor Dragana Sotirovski, said the president of Serbian Basketball Federtion, Predrag Danilović, addressing the audience. He called on the spectators to support their clubs in sportsmanship manner and thus help the tournament happen in the best order. Let basketball come first as it should, Danilović said. He invited the spectators to come to the Niš Sports Hall Čair from February 17 to 20, to wear masks, adhere to all prescribed epidemiological measures and enjoy basketball. In the quarterfinals Crvena zvezda mts will play against Radnički Kragujevac, Mega Mozart against Zlatibor, Partizan NIS against Borac Zemun and FMP Meridian – Borac Čačak. The first national basketball cup in Niš was held in 1975.
