Niš City Mayor Dragana Sotirovski presented sports scholarships to Niš athletes who achieved the best results in the country and at competitions abroad for 2021. A beautiful picture of our young athletes, all in front of the City Hall. I hope that there will be more of them next year and we are planning more money for sports scholarships, said the Mayor congratulating the most successful athletes. The City of Niš also helps athletes by construction and developing of sports infrastructure in order to provide them with the best possible conditions for training, as the Mayor pointed out.  The Member of Niš City Council Aleksandar Stojičić said that 52 scholarships for this year were distributed and that it was a confirmation that Niš athletes worked hard and trained despite the pandemic and problems with competitions. They showed the results. Acting director of the Sports Center Čair Branka Arandjelović presented free tickets for the pool and skating rink to the best athletes.
