The director of the preschool institution Pčelica, Svetlana Mitić, said that this was an important event for that institution, because two kindergartens were opened in one day, announcing the possibility of opening another study room or group in the elementary school Njegoš. The president of the City Municipality Niška Banja Dušan Živković, stated that the opening of kindergartens in Sićevo and Ostrovica was an example the survival of the villages can be facilitated.
