Stevan Sremac Award for the best book of prose in the Serbian language, published in 2020, by the decision of the jury, went to Nenad Teofilović for the novel Fracture. The Stevan Sremac Award, which is being awarded for the 18th time, was presented to the laureate by the Member of Niš City Council Adriana Anastasov. She pointed out that this was one of the most important awards for prose in Serbia and that it was supported by the Ministry of Culture and Information and the City of Niš. Anastasov mentioned that more and more books were coming were being submitted for this award, and an increasing number of writers were participating. Nenad Teofilović said, thanking for the award, that he was surprised and at the same time delighted with such an important recognition. Speaking about the award-winning novel Teofilović said that he positioned his hero somewhere in the world. The main character is an architect who succeeds in the world, but in the end he remains dissatisfied. The question is, why is he dissatisfied, if he is successful.
