The first regular session of the Assembly of the Regional Company for Communal Services „Niš Region“ Ltd Niš, whose predominant activity is the treatment and disposal of non-hazardous waste, was held in Nis, at which the preparations for the rehabilitation of the existing landfill and the construction of a new landfill with state support and in cooperation with foreign partners was initiated. The session was chaired by Niš City Mayor Dragana Sotirovski, in the capacity of the President of the Assembly. At the session a decision was made on the election of members of the Supervisory Board, the report on the payment of shares in the share capital of the company and the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly were adopted. The members of the company are the City of Niš and the municipalities of Doljevac, Gadžin Han, Merošina, Svrljig, Aleksinac, Sokobanja and Ražanj with the appropriate participation in the founding capital in proportion to the number of inhabitants.
