The Evergreen Festival will be held from September 1 to 3 in the Niš Fortress, where top artists of popular music will perform. This year the festival is dedicated to Kornelije Kovač, this year’s winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award. The member of Niš City Council Adriana Anastasov said at a press conference in the City Hall that the Evergreen Festival was city supported event and that the festival would be held in compliance with the epidemiological measures valid for all other city festivals. The artistic director of the festival, Snežana Jovanović, announced that an exhibition of gramophone records and wines would be organized in Barutana on the first day at 12:00, and that bands were scheduled to perform in front of the Jazz Museum from 17:00. On the second day of the festival, at 8 pm, the Queen Real Tribute Band and the Orchestra Impresija will perform on the Summer Stage. The third evening is dedicated to Kornelija Kovač, whose compositions will be performed by Bisera Veletanlić, Sasa Vasić, Zoran Šandorov, Tanja Banjanin, Dušan Svilar, Goran Šepa Gale, Žarko Dančuo, Dejan Najdanović Najda, vocal group Konstantin.
