Niš City Mayor Dragana Sotirovski handed over contracts on incentives to Niš farmers from the Budget Fund for Agriculture and Rural Development of the City of Nis. This year, 276 agricultural producers from Niš villages received incentives for the improvement of their agricultural production. A big city like Niš needs to develop its agricultural production due to high demand. I am especially happy that there are many young people among the beneficiaries, as well as women, said Niš City Mayor. We are planning how else we can help the village and the registered agricultural farms. We will build a large wholesale market where they will be able to place their products, we will relocate some city green markets and thus provide easier access and delivery of goods, said Dragana Sotirovski. Slobodan Randjelović, the Member of Niš City Council in charge of agriculture attended the awarding of the contract and Sara Jovančić thanked on behalf of all the awardees.
