By signing and certifying the contract with the public notary between the City of Niš and the Republic Property Directorate of the Republic of Serbia the City of Niš fulfilled its obligations undertaken in 2010 at the location Novi Niš on handing over apartments for the Ministry of Defense and members of the Serbian Army. Apartments with a total gross area of ​​21,000 square meters were officially handed over. After more than a decade the blockade of that foreign investment was lifted and enabled the continuation of the construction of the residential and business complex Novi Niš. With the completion of the construction of the complex and the accompanying communal infrastructure, that part of the city will get a modern and completely different look.
