It is impossible to imagine Serbia without Saint Sava, the first Serbian archbishop, educator, founder and protector of education, diplomat and statesman. It is impossible to imagine Serbia without the teachings of Saint Sava, because it is woven and is an inseparable part of the Serbian national being. Saint Sava ennobled our souls with the virtues of learning, modesty, sacrifice, truth, forgiveness, reconciliation and justice. Let us preserve the Serbian language and Serbian alphabet. Let us nurture the work of Saint Sava.”
