Niš City Mayor Dragana Sotirovski and her associates presented the traditional annual awards to talented students of Niš primary and secondary schools, congratulating those who won, individually or as a team, medals at national and international competitions. We are proud of these young people and we want to have even more of them. We are looking forward to each new award and we will allocate even more money for talented students, said the Mayor, addressing the students, their parents and professors. The Mayor said that the Youth Office was open to all their ideas and projects and invited them to enroll in high schools and colleges in Niš in order to create a better environment in their city.

Students of Niš primary and secondary schools have won more than 300 awards, and some have won several awards in various scientific fields. The Member of Niš City Council Marija Randjelović said that the awards of the City of Nis were an incentive for talented students and motivation for others in the educational process. The award ceremony was attended by the head of the School Administration of the Nisava Administrative District Predrag Nešović.
