Niš City Mayor Dragana Sotirovski met with the representatives of the Association of Veterans of the 63rd Parachute Brigade who introduced her to the activities of their organization and the social position of its members. The city is ready to help in solving the problems of the members of the association within its jurisdiction. The conversation was focused on further preservation and nurturing of the traditions of the 63rd Parachute Brigade. The president of Niš branch of the Association of the 63rd Parachute Brigade Veterans, Slavoljub Andjelković, speaking about the activities of that association, reminded that the paratroopers were soldiers with two oaths: to the homeland and to the brigade. He thanked for the understanding and readiness of the city to help those veterans who need that help. The Association of Veterans of the 63rd Parachute Brigade was founded on October 7, 2007 with its headquarters in Niš and operates in the territory of the Republic of Serbia.
