Leader and the organizer of all protests of the education workers in Niš and Serbia from 1996 to 2000.

Member of the Democratic Party, Member and the vice-president of the Niš City Executive Board from 2001-2004.

President of the Commission for sustainable development and environmental protection of the City Assembly from 2005-2008.

Member of the City Parliament in two mandates.

Board of Serbian Basketball Association and the vice-president of the Managing Board of the Serbian Association for school sports and youth education.

Married, father of two children.
