Honorary consuls
Niš City, after the Capital, has the most numerous diplomatic corps in Serbia. Besides official consuls of the Republic of Bulgaria and Republic of Greece, four prominent Niš Citizens received diplomatic agreement by which they were appointed honorary consuls. Great Britain, Hungary, France and Slovakia chose Niš citizens for their honorary consuls, appreciating their commitment and contribution to strengthening of relations and cooperation in different areas with those states.
Honorary consuls actively contribute to the improvement of friendly relations with the state they represent, and in cooperation with permanent mission of that state, they support the development of bilateral contacts and relations in all the areas of mutual interest.
