This administration performs following tasks:

 

  • Monitoring legally and financially the works of public utility companies which perform communal services, and monitoring the dynamics and quality of provided services;
  • Participation in the development of the operational programmes for communal enterprises and monitoring their implementation;
  • Processing the documentation related to the formation of the prices for communal services and products;
  • Processing of the application from city budget beneficiaries;
  • Execution of the city budget allocation to approved city budget beneficiaries;

  • Application of  the principal energy strategies:

  • Definition of strategies and plans for the development of the energetic at local level;
  • Prescription of the conditions and methods of securing the heating energy with the regulations of the distribution network for heating energy and tariff system foe defining the heating energy prices;
  • Monitoring the execution of the operations related to the city communal infrastructure;
  • Developing the programme for the maintenance of the streets and traffic roads;
  • Planning, constructing, reconstructing and maintaining the street and traffic roads;
  • Public transport.

 

The administration monitors the founders’ rights over the operation undertaken by following public utility companies founded by the City of Nis:
