Deputy President of the City Assembly: Nebojša Krstić

Nebojša Hristivoje Krstić, MD was born in 1964 in Knjaževac. Graduated from Medical Faculty, University of Belgrade in 1989. Took his Masters Degree in 1996 with excellent success on the theme "Left heart chamber myocardial hypertrophy and diastolic dysfunction of the patients with arterial essential hypertension" at Medical Faculty in Niš.
He passed specialization exam with excellent success in 1999. In 2005 he took his PhD with the theme "Determination factors for appearance and development of the arterial hypertension of the adult population in Serbia". Ministry for health of the Republic of Serbia, based on the obtained recommendation from Serbian Medical Society, awarded him the title Primarius in 2005.
He is currently employed in the Clinical Centre Niš, Clinic for cardiovascular diseases, on the position of internal medicine specialist – cardiologist. He is the author of over 100 expert and scientific woks published in foreign and national magazines. Married and a father of two sons.
He has been in politics since plural party system introduction. He was elected as a member of the City Parliament in two mandates up to 2000, as well as in the elections of 2008.
He is a member of the political party G17+ as well as the president of the respective board for health.
